Race Night Events
The Sport of Kings brought to you live and kicking into the venue of your choice with all the atmosphere and razzmatazz associated with a race meeting.
Funny money is provided and the tables compete as teams to back the winners of the 8 race card. Once money starts to be accrued, auctions are held and teams can buy the horses. A race card is prepared and can be written around the sponsor's product range.
e.g. The Initial Cleaning Steeple Chase etc. These are often written tongue in cheek.
Highly audience participative, highly competitive and highly amusing!!!
Using delegate volunteers pitched against one another to race their rocking horses we guarantee that the volume levels will rise to near hysteria. Compared by Tim the Tote from Tottenham the rules are explained to the group:
- Each 'horse' is raced by winding in a cord via a simple individual winch mechanism
- Each competitor has their own unit
- Each competitor is sat facing away from the horse
- If the jockey (monkey) falls off then the horse is disqualified!
Using funny money the competitors are paraded and Tim the Tote from Tottenham will give odds. Horses race between start and finish line - payout on win only!
